Olalani Resort & Condotel

My stay at this beachfront hotel had its highs and lows. On the plus side, the location was fantastic - it felt like I had a private beach, and my room was spacious with a beautiful ocean view, plus the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel itself was a bit quiet and could use some renovations to spruce it up. Additionally, there wasn't much to do in the surrounding area, but taxis were readily available and affordable, which made it easy to explore.

I enjoyed some aspects of my stay at this hotel, including the good breakfast and friendly staff, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and spacious balcony with an ocean view. However, there were some drawbacks, including the need for renovations, a small and temperamental fridge, and the hotel's distance from the lively area. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not without its flaws.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was a disaster from start to finish. When I arrived, I was immediately put off by the overgrown gardens and broken fountains, which suggested a serious lack of maintenance. It turned out I was right to be concerned - the hotel looked like parts of it were abandoned, the water slides weren't working, and there was minimal staff on duty. To top it off, I had to request a new fridge for several days before it was finally fixed or replaced.
