We always choose Horseshoe Bay and Bowen, and the Whitsunday Sands resort is perfect for a relaxed beach break; the grounds are lovely with a selection of beaches and coves to swim in, plenty of walks and runs, coffee and eateries nearby, and the charming town of Bowen close by.

The view from our room overlooking the bay was exceptional, and the bed was very comfortable. However, we felt the price we paid for the accommodation was pretty pricey for just an average motel/resort room.
