“Beautiful garden and BBQs area was a bonus”
Good sized room, plus everything you would expect from a motel. Only 5 mins walk to the supermarket behind the motel. But the bonus was the lovely garden space outside with chairs tables and even communal BBQs to use. Really lovely to have a safe calm space to use especially after children have gone to sleep. Not that much going on in the town but we were only there 1 night having driven from Canada, on our way elsewhere so that was fine
The stay was very convenient for an overnight. The location was good, the staff were welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and clean.

We had a breakfast that was generous by American standards with bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, fruit, pancakes and plenty of boxed cereals, bars, and muffins. The machine let you make pancakes yourself. The location, right near the highway, was very convenient for a layover. Our room was cancelled while we were on the road and we couldn’t respond to an email, even though our credit card info was on file and the reservation was marked confirmed.
