Nice comfortable room. Nothing else.
I liked how light and spacious my room was. Also lots of coffee provided, that's always a bonus. Right, where should I start? Upon checking in there was NO key left for me outside so I spent a good hour trying to reach out to anyone from the hotel and instead was greeted every time by the AI assistant or voicemail (rung 2 numbers). Eventually 2 dudes turned up, finally went inside to my room, received the key. Glad it wasn't raining that day. My other issue was the bathroom and to be specific, it's quite frustrating trying to work out small touch screen device trying to switch on the shower. I don't think this idea is working particularly well. Last thing, there is only one toilet. Not good.
“Zeer teleurstellend”
The room was okay, and the shared bathroom was fine, but the building is a row house on a plain street with three rooms rented out, and it wasn’t clear that you had to return the front door key after opening with the code, which caused trouble for other tenants; a dog ran around inside, its owner was never seen, a pile of dirty laundry lay on the dining table in the shared kitchen, and the kitchen overlooked a garden full of rubbish.
“Amazing”
The host was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing else.
“SLEPT IN CAR… No code sent for entry until 00:08. Confrontational male screamed in my face and slammed the door.”
Nothing, slept in my car as the key code wasn’t sent until 00:08 after I had to ask and we’d been to Victorious festival. I actually messaged the property and was told there was no last check in time before travelling to Portsmouth from Plymouth! Knocked before I received the code as my battery was about to die and got answered to a male who screamed in my face and was confrontational. Slammed the door in my face. Didn’t feel comfortable staying after a second knock and he did the same. Why did he think I was knocking on the door, jeez. Wasted £134.00 on this and even had a message to say I was a no show the Sunday morning! Not a reply to my message about the incident!! He was a male and I’m a 42 year old woman who was there to stay with my 20 year old son. Disgusting. SLEPT IN MY CAR!. Nothing
