A clean room and a spot close to many restaurants, but no sign outside made it hard to find. I thought I’d booked a private bathroom, yet it turned out to be shared. The air‑con was hard to adjust and felt very cold.

I could check in before the official time, the staff were friendly, and there was a fridge and kettle to share. The place was very noisy, with sound from adjacent rooms and the hallway.
