“Would not consider going back”
I thought the hotel was nice, but the service was super slow—any request we had took forever, and a bucket of ice didn’t arrive until after 30 minutes.

We always enjoy staying at the Peninsula, especially the breakfast and lobby, but the staff were disappointing; we mentioned twice that it was our 5th anniversary and that we had spent part of our honeymoon there five years ago, yet the room had a cake that said “Happy Birthday,” which embarrassed me as a husband and I wish there had been a way to fix it. For such an amazing hotel, this mistake should never happen.

The facilities—pool, gym, lobby, food, and location—were great, but the room was clean yet a little worn, outdated, with light that could have been better, and it was very white.
