A slice of history blended with modern comfort, opulent common areas, and surprisingly friendly staff. We loved the location and the breakfast, which included a variety of products from the family dairy among many other good items. Special thanks to Mina for flawless communication, and parking was easy to find in the area. Overall, this was the best place we stayed during our three‑week trip through Italy.

The breakfast was really great, the room was spacious but unfortunately we didn’t get direct access to the terrace as we had expected, and while the location was good it could have been a bit closer to the old town.

The staff were very friendly (Anna & co), the breakfast was excellent, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable, and we could enjoy the terrace overlooking the courtyard; the room was larger than usual but it was very noisy. The only issue was the construction site that was especially active at 7 am, otherwise it stayed within limits. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet the manager (post‑season?) and there was no cosy lounge area.

The location is great, just a two‑minute walk from the sea, a variety of restaurants and the main street, and a 15‑20 minute walk to the historic centre. Cleanliness is a given, the housekeeping is truly something never seen before. The staff are extremely kind and always smiling, it feels like home. The breakfast is generous, with fresh products and spectacular homemade doughnuts. The only flaw I could find is that the internet and TV could use some improvement.
