We had no positives; the hotel was unreliable. We booked from the 8th to the 9th of February with a confirmation number, arrived from Jaipur Airport at 4 am, and were denied a room because it was full. They turned us away, and after calling the hotel countless times we finally got accommodation at Marigold at a high price. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed.

The rooms were clean, but they were small. Ventilation required the AC, which was hard to manage in February.

We left the hotel after just 20 minutes—absolutely unacceptable. The rooms were clean, but the hotel did not match any of the photos or the description on Booking. It felt stuffy, the rooms had never been aired out, and some were even windowless. In the kitchen, staff sat on the floor, and the food selection, as well as the dining area, looked dark, unfriendly, and untidy; definitely not a place to eat. Staff spoke almost no English except one employee, and there was neither a balcony nor a terrace in the rooms.

The location was fine. I booked a superior king‑size room, yet it was very cramped with a big bed but no balcony or city view; the small window only offered a dirty shaft view, even though a balcony and city view were advertised on the site. The kettle was dirty, the fridge didn’t work, the AC stayed at 19 °C but didn’t cool, and the tissue roll looked old and wasn’t replaced. I asked for the room to be cleaned after we left, but no one cleaned or emptied the dustbins. When I complained, they moved us to another room with a small bed that wasn’t suitable for the three of us (a couple and a child). Room service was slow and time‑consuming.
