“Dit is niet het soort B&B die we verkiezen”

The location was good, very quiet yet relatively close by bike to the city of Groningen. This is not the B&B we prefer, but we had stayed at two others before and the concept was largely the same. A B&B should mean a good bed and an excellent breakfast. The bed was fine, but the breakfast was delivered to the room and you had to specify what you wanted the day before, which was rather basic. No freshly fried egg, no fresh fruit juice, and I could not continue like that. It was late August, and in the chalet we stayed in the evening it was barely 17 °C, which we personally found refreshing, but there was no heating because the gas was not turned on (this only happens from September). It had also been a while since a major cleaning had taken place.

“Beautiful spacious B&B in quiet rural setting”

A brilliant B&B tucked away in a quiet rural setting. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the studio, a very large, well‑equipped and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of space, a sofa, a patio and room to relax without having to sit on the bed. A well‑equipped kitchen was available. The bathroom was very nice, clean, with a powerful shower. The host was lovely. It was very convenient to cycle into the national parks around, the large lake nearby or into Groningen, which has a lot of character and things to do. Everything was excellent.

“Erholsame Tage im Onlanden.”

A very cozy accommodation with tasteful interior. Excellent breakfast. The location exceeded our expectations. Nature right outside the door. An eldorado for photographers. Unusual peace and quiet for city dwellers. Will return gladly. Everything was perfect.

A truly atmospheric and beautifully decorated spot, tucked under the city yet close enough to all urban conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, and the owner was open and helpful. We’ll definitely return! Everything was exactly as it should be :)

We stayed in a huge room with a really good bed. The location was great, right in the middle of a natural area. Henk was a friendly and helpful host, and we had two bicycles to borrow for free. It got a bit chilly at night, and we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heating, but we didn’t ask for help, so it was partly our fault.
