The location was great, the room was spacious, and the staff were welcoming and flexible, especially useful on a Saturday when the market is setting up downstairs after breakfast, but a few fittings were hanging off.

Décoration à l'ancienne soignée, hôtesse très accueillante et souriante, petit déjeuner copieux, rien à redire, d'où la note.

The décor of this charming guesthouse was simply wonderful, and the living room was exceptional, filled with books that were all more interesting than the last—perfect for a bedtime tea.

The host was especially courteous and, as an artist, a fascinating conversation partner who gave us great tips; the rooms were lovingly restored and tastefully furnished, and breakfast was excellent and served individually. The French bed (160 cm wide) with a fairly soft mattress wasn’t ideal for me, but that’s often the standard in France and therefore expected.

The location, the welcome, and the interaction with the hostess were all positive, and the building has been renovated with taste.
