Apollonia

“Zeer positief, voor herhaling vatbaar en een aanrader.”

I was greeted warmly, the place was spotless, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel sits just minutes from the E40 Oostende‑Brussel and a stone’s throw from the lively centre of Aalter.

“We had a restful stay on our way home at the end of our holidays and were made to feel comfortable and at home. We will”

The host was super helpful and pointed me to great spots to eat, which is a real win on a Sunday or Monday night in Belgium. The room itself was lovely, nicely furnished, with a private patio and a big, clean bathroom and shower. Breakfast was top‑notch. The only gripe: the signage off the road is hard to spot, but it’s a minor annoyance.

Quiet spot out in nature, yet a quick drive to the sea. The room had a terrace overlooking the garden, and the breakfast had everything you’d expect. The host was very friendly.

“A superb place for a stop off just off the E40”

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The town itself was charming, and we had a great meal at a restaurant on the square. Breakfast at Apollonia was also very good.
