This is a hidden gem just a few minutes from the A10 motorway. Cyril and Antoine are warm and welcoming hosts. The property is very well appointed with bold and fun interior decor. Their surprisingly large garden is at the disposition of guests and includes a good‑sized swimming pool and hot tub. Even more special is their careful attention to many small details to make their guests’ stay easier and more comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with artisan breads, homemade yoghurt and compote. A reasonably‑priced evening meal is also available on request.

“Un séjour apaisant et reposant. Un petit havre de paix en peine canicule”

The place is really beautiful inside and out. It’s surprising to find such a peaceful spot and a garden in the middle of the city. Just the heat in the bathroom but it was particularly hot during the stay. The neighborhood isn’t the most pleasant in town (e.g., walking to a restaurant), but once you pass the door you forget.

“Week-end musical”

The guesthouse is magnificent, tastefully decorated. It’s warm, you feel at home. The hosts are lovely, attentive to our little needs. The room is obviously beautiful, very spacious, comfortable bedding, the bathroom is very clean, the products were provided. We dined one evening, and the buffet was very good, generous. To conclude, it was a stay with nice encounters. We will definitely return if we ever need to come back to Chatellerault.

A perfect stay. First of all, the welcome: excellent. The house: incredibly pleasant. The room: air‑conditioned, spacious, and everything is ready for a superb time. The garden: relaxing. The pool: magical. The breakfast: worthy of a 5‑star palace. Cyril and Antoine exude generosity. Don’t miss it if you’re passing by.

“Fabuleuse parenthèse de paradis pour lune de miel 😃”

We loved the calm and serenity that reigns at Clos Gabrielle, the comfort of the room, and the very warm welcome from Cyril and Antoine. The pool and jacuzzi added relaxation for our honeymoon! The massage in the bamboo grove was incredible! In fact, we appreciated everything! But: we would have liked to sip a cocktail by the pool, and to dine on site. Also a sweet‑savory breakfast.
