“A nice hotel, lovely grounds, directly on the water”

The room was a good size and the bathroom was spacious, which is great because most Asian hotel bathrooms are very small. The two ladies at reception during the day are very sweet, and I was especially impressed with Jeng Narueporn, who was extremely helpful and seemed to care deeply about the hotel. Everything in the room worked fine, which is always great. I was here during the low/rainy season so the hotel was almost empty; the beach was deserted and most of the shops were closed. I personally enjoyed the solitude. Next to the deluxe swimming pool is a lovely sitting room with a breezeway and several shelves of books one can borrow. The reception calls this room the lounge; I dubbed it “the library.” It’s really a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the sound of the waves. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the ocean. All the rooms are set apart and have privacy, which lessens the noise from neighbors. 7/11 is an easy 7‑8 minute walk. I really have no complaints.

The location and the beach are great. The unevenness of the streets and in low season they don’t turn on all the lights in the evenings.

I discovered a gem! The beach is incredible and empty, the apartments are optimal, and there are several pools. The bar is empty, so if you want a quiet spot with amazing views, this is the place. The reception could use clearer signage.

“Prima!”

The location by the sea is stunning, but the air conditioning would have been welcome during breakfast, which was absolutely terrible—limited options and bland taste. On the bright side, the lunch and dinner kitchen is fantastic, offering dishes that we simply couldn't find anywhere else.

“Catastrophique !!!😩”

Nothing positive. For the first time after years of traveling in Thailand, I encountered staff who were hardly smiling! In the villa we stayed in, 1) the shower had no water evacuation, 2) there was a leak in the toilet that the staff knew about because they had placed a towel, and 3) the mattress makes you feel the springs—just terrible. We chose this place because reviews encouraged us, but booking off‑season likely affected the nonexistent service quality, and don't even get me started on the breakfast!!!
