The venue was lovely and the staff were very friendly, and the pillows were perfect for my picky pillow standards. Unfortunately, there was no power outlet by the bed; my partner needed a CPAP machine, and while we managed with an extension cord, it had to run across the floor, which was inconvenient for nighttime bathroom trips.
I didn’t enjoy my stay. The admin lady seemed to misunderstand the breakfast options; what was offered was barely filling—just toast, cheese, and cold cereal—and I was annoyed to find an aircraft flying overhead.
“Kostet sehr viel Geld und Nerven”
There were two very nice and understanding staff members, which is the only positive thing I can say about this place. The stay cost a lot of time, money, and nerves; I would advise against it. The shuttle was paid in advance but never picked me up—something I’ve never experienced before. The property was notified, but the receptionist claimed she “knew nothing” and hung up. After two hours, I had to arrange a new shuttle on my own, paying for two shuttles. The lodge seemed indifferent to this mistake. After a long discussion, I at least got a refund for the lodge’s shuttle. I can’t recommend it—high price, very poor service, and the breakfast doesn’t deserve its name.

The room was excellent and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that breakfast came with margarine instead of butter, which I can’t stand.
