The motel was straightforward—exactly what the price promised, nothing extravagant but it didn’t let me down. It could use a bit more tidiness, and when I arrived the front desk was empty, so I waited a few minutes for someone to appear.

The local surroundings were nice, but one of the rooms was scorching and the AC took ages to cool it. The TV also had issues, sometimes the picture went dark.

The room had been opened before we arrived, and dust was everywhere; the toilet bowl was dirty when we got there.
