The room was well‑situated and the staff were very kind and attentive, but the room itself felt soulless, with poor‑quality materials that gave off a cold, slightly cheap vibe, and the ventilation was very noisy.

The hotel sat in a great spot, close to many local spots and the metro, and the staff were pleasant and friendly, yet I wish I’d read more about how small the rooms actually are; it’s hard to fit two carry‑on luggage and still feel comfortable, and the cleaning left stains on the blankets, unwashed glasses, and sticky floors.

The place is very central at Place de la République, with a bus stop right outside, bike rentals, and many nice restaurants and cafés nearby; the room was charming with a comfortable bed and the reception was friendly, but the room was small, the bathroom was modern and clean but only had an old bathtub instead of a shower, the balcony was too narrow to sit on, and the main street outside the room is loud, so you can’t open the window at night, though you don’t hear the street when the window is closed.
