The location is beautiful and cheap, and the couple who run it are pleasant, though they’re not on site. It was blisteringly hot, no AC, and my ground‑floor room let me’t open the window wide enough to keep burglars out. Worse, the restaurant was closed even though the ad said it existed, so I went to bed hungry and couldn’t get breakfast either.

The views are superb. The place feels empty, all closed, dirty, and grimy. The breakfast is a sham.

Nothing, because I couldn’t stay. We called all morning to confirm our arrival and nobody answered the phone.

The host was very friendly and dropped me off for free at the Camino starting point the following day, a 30‑minute ride. There isn’t a pilgrim stamp. The spot by the reservoir is great, but it’s a bit too far from the Camino.
