Casa Flamenco turned out to be a solid base for our trip to Suchitoto, especially after Gringo Tours arranged a fun 36‑hour itinerary for us. The rooms had everything we needed for exploring, and the air‑conditioning was definitely a plus.

The staff were lovely and helpful, but the place just didn’t suit me. The rooms were dirty, with grime on the floor and in the shower. They’re basically located in the restaurant, which never felt comfortable since it wasn’t open late. There’s only cold water, and not even hot water—the water was actually cold, making showering uncomfortable even in a hot climate. Many warm spots lack hot water, but at least it should have been at room temperature.

The location is great, and the staff are super friendly. The restaurant offered a wide range of tasty dishes, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. They also gave plenty of useful advice for tourists about Suchitoto and El Salvador in general.

The spot has a good location and friendly staff, but sand ended up in my bed, and the bathroom that was supposed to be private was full of hair. The rooms felt more like garden sheds with beds in them, and the beds seemed like they might collapse at any moment.
