The location in the center is stunning, and the view is wonderful. The AC was missing even though it was listed. The bathroom looks a bit run‑down and has no window for ventilation.

Great spot. The bathroom is tiny, with a shower that shares a wall with the toilet.

The view over the harbor and local traffic is magical. It’s central to bus stops in both directions and the ferry (catamaran) to/from Naples. Bring your own power cord and a few cutlery pieces so you can brew your morning coffee. There’s a fridge for your local market finds. About 300 m from Hotel Terme, where for a fee (€15 for half a day) you can access the pool and thermal baths/ sunbeds. The best of both private and hotel. The host family is very friendly—and the young son speaks English. All communication was quick and welcoming, even at arrival when Google Maps mis‑directed us by about 200 m. Thanks for the water on arrival and the clean sheets, towels, and bathrobe.

The place where “la casetta del mago” sits is strategically located near the port and shops and restaurants. The “casetta del mago a Forio d’Ischia” feels a bit out of date. The bathroom needs renovation—both the shower and sink are no longer up to standard. There’s no AC, just a fan. Additionally, the bathroom opens into a room of another apartment, so you can hear everything they say and do, which isn’t ideal.

The entire house was disgusting and I will never stay there again; it was a nightmare, the location is nice but the property is a total waste.
