The place is in a great spot – markets, bus stops, the beach and restaurants are all just a few minutes away. The staff are super welcoming and the vibe feels like a relaxed family gathering. Everything else was spot‑on, no complaints.

Got a balcony in the room and breakfast at the hotel, which was nice. But weird stuff kept happening in the room that I still can’t explain. The on‑site parking is fine, but if your car is behind yours they’ll move it for you, putting you at risk of bumping into other vehicles.

The staff were pleasant, breakfast was good, and the rooms were very clean. They changed the sheets every other day and towels daily – that was great. The downside? No TV in the room, no bedside tables, no glasses or plates, and no electric kettle. Getting to the hotel was a nightmare – a rough dirt road and everything seemed farther than described.

It’s just a short walk from the city center, and the guy who runs the place was easy to reach by phone and through the booking system. The surroundings in Golem aren’t the prettiest, the road to get there is a bit of a trek, and the lady on site wasn’t very friendly and didn’t speak English or French.
