The staff were exceptionally polite, the hostel itself was stunning with a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen, the town’s surroundings are lovely, and it’s a short walk to the nearby town of Togakushi.

The staff were fantastic, the vibe was welcoming and homely, the bed was comfortable, they offered great local food tips, and there were useful Japanese phrases posted on the wall.
