Finding the hotel was a bit of a headache because there was no sign on the building itself – only the restaurant name was visible, and the entrance felt odd. Breakfast was decent and the staff were pleasant, but paying €160 for a late‑September night felt way too steep.

The rooms were modern and tidy, with a comfy bed, clean linens, and even extra fleece blankets; we liked having Netflix and YouTube on the TV and the hot shower worked great. The beach view was stunning, though construction noise and a faulty bathroom window spoiled the vibe, and the lack of a lift meant lugging luggage up stairs. We also missed basic amenities like tea cups and an iron, and the room let in a lot of noise and a few pesky insects, which made sleep difficult.

I can't believe this was listed as a hotel; it's really just four rooms above a restaurant with no reception or any real hotel services. The constant cooking smells seeped into the hallway and our room, and we had to walk through the kitchen and storage area just to get to our door, making sleep almost impossible.
