“Traumlage direkt am Strand”
The beachside location was perfect, the host was very friendly and helpful, the excursions and restaurant suggestions were great, the accommodation was clean, and the restaurants and breakfast spots right outside the door were excellent. However, the pre‑stay communication was sometimes delayed, there was no private parking, though street parking was available nearby.
The spot is great, right by the water in Diakofti, and the adjacent restaurant serves excellent food—very convenient. Diakofti itself is a bit far from everything, and while the hotel is cute, it’s unacceptable to have to bring your own shampoo and shower gel at this price; the manager even told us that on the second day after we asked why the bottles hadn’t been replaced.

The kitchen lacked a stove, a stove top, and a range hood even though outlets were present, so you couldn’t cook anything – not even an omelette or a toast – which is a problem for a family of five with three children, especially for the price paid. On the ground‑floor apartment the boundary between the outdoor area and the two bedrooms is unclear, so kids with sticks keep appearing in the courtyard and stare at you puzzled.
