“Geoffrey and Caroline were excellent hosts.”
The property paid close attention to detail, housed many historical artefacts, and served an amazing breakfast, but the bedroom door lacked a lock.

The location is also super convenient for exploring the local area. I was really impressed with how welcoming they made me feel, and I'd definitely stay here again.
“Haughley House lovely country house”
This old listed house is a real treat, with its country house style and convenient location. The breakfasts were cooked from local ingredients and were absolutely delicious. Caroline and Geoffrey were super welcoming, but the lack of keys and the need to have them stay up late when we got back was a bit of a hassle. Still, it's a lovely place to stay.

The hosts were absolutely marvelous, polite and respectful, and they thought about everything; if you’re tired of the usual Premier Inn or Hilton types, this place offers a brilliant change, and the uneven surface just adds to the aura of living with a Baron and Baroness.

The breakfasts at this place were a highlight of my stay - they were freshly made to order using mostly their own produce. The grounds were a bit rough around the edges, but I think that's because the owner's been dealing with some health issues. Still, the setting was lovely and I enjoyed my time here.
