It was a fun experience to sleep on a boat once. The staff were friendly and considerate. The location is in the heart of Enkuizen, an excellent starting point to plan your stay around.

The host was super sweet and everything was perfect. I slept great and had a wonderful breakfast. It was so fun to stay on a boat and sip fresh coffee on the back deck in the sunshine each morning. Absolutely fantastic!

Breakfast wasn’t remarkable but it was sufficient. Sleeping on a boat was a beautiful experience. The TV was a drawback—there was no regular broadcast, only Netflix and the like, which we didn’t like. Luckily we had our own tablet with TV.

The boat sits right in the middle of town, directly in front of the host’s house. On the terrace there’s a small extension that serves as a shower. The host, Anika, is very nice, and breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket on board. Wi‑Fi is available, and water is kept in the fridge. Bikes are stored securely in the courtyard. It’s romantic but quite cramped. The vessel is old and lacks comfort: only one toilet, no sink. I’ve taken longer canal trips on more comfortable Dutch boats.
