Located on a scenic plateau with breathtaking ocean views, Pestana Palm Gardens features fully furnished townhouses with warm, sunny colour schemes and glass sliding doors leading to private patios and gardens. Panoramic sea views are available in select rooms. The property boasts a sports court, gym, sauna, and massage services, as well as a pool bar during summer months, near the Vale do Milho Golf Course.

Everything was as advertised and the friendliness and offers far surpassed my expectations.

The location is pleasant if you have a car to get around, as it’s away from the city centre. The buildings are well maintained even though they’re aging. The hot water is intermittent and breakfast starts at 8 am, which we only tried once. Cleaning times are random.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the spot was amazing—close to fabulous beaches and cliff walks. I didn’t use the pool because I prefer the ocean, but it looked great, wasn’t crowded, and the bar next to it had a great bartender. The nearby beach is unbeatable. We ran out of our single‑ply toilet roll after two days, called reception for a replacement, but never received one; at least they had a bidet.
