The accommodation is average with a fairly average breakfast selection; the hot water stopped, making the shower terrible (no prior notice of a possible outage), and the church bell rings every hour outside, which is very disruptive at night for those who prefer quiet.

It sits on a beautiful square, everything is close and there is parking… the staff are pleasant. It is very noisy even after the ground‑floor restaurant closes, probably from some cooling or ventilation system… the room and bathroom have not been dusted for a long time, there is a bag of trash under the bed from previous guests… the bed is only 70 cm wide, a width we have never experienced elsewhere…

The room is nice, but below it lies the tavern garden, and the noise from it is terrible into the night.

The location in Jičín is exceptional, close to all attractions and the Bohemian Paradise, and there’s free parking less than five minutes away on foot. The housekeeping didn’t seem to have cleaned under the bed for a long time; we found dust, a pill, and other debris there.
