Green Wood Hill Cottage

The staff, especially Mr. Suresh and caretaker Mr. Prashanth, were exceptionally helpful whenever we needed something during day or night and guided us on how to explore the area. It’s not that I didn’t like it, just that the hotel could improve by adding a restaurant on site; the staff did suggest using trusted nearby restaurants via Swiggy for deliveries.

“A very relaxing vacation with friends in an ideal location that was most comfortable.”

The cottages were very spacious and comfortable for a small group to relax, the staff were cooperative, and the hilltop location offered a stunning view. The cottages were clean and homely. However, there was no restaurant at the resort, so the staff had to go into Ooty town to bring us food, limiting the options and often making the food not fresh. Apart from breakfast, the resort offered no lunch, dinner, or tea because it lacks an in‑house kitchen. A heater system would help keep the rooms and beds warm during the freezing Ooty winters. The bathroom geyser/heater could be better; it takes an hour to heat the water but only five minutes for it to cool again.
