“Perfect stay for couples wanting something different”
The spot is truly unique, right on the Wharf, and I loved the lively atmosphere when the Wharf was open and the calmness when it was closed, especially from the balcony. Nothing else to add.
“The loudness by the host themselves at 730 AM was enough that I would not stay again.”
Nice location. Parking included was great. Breakfast provided was good but a bit of a walk and only available starting at 10 AM. 1. The host posted a sign asking people to be quiet and respectful due to thinner walls etc. Then from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM on a Saturday the host themselves are directly above our bed doing what sounds like re-arranging furniture! Not just walking around but loud banging and just plain loud. It was VERY disrespectful. 2. The tub had someone else's hair in it. ( photo provided) This is unacceptable for this price point. 3. This is not a Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast is off site. You are given a voucher to get breakfast at a cafe a few blocks away. It was good , but only available starting at 10AM. People travelling don't want to wait until 10 AM to get breakfast. We had a ferry to catch at 9 so no breakfast for us on our second day. 4. The host was not unfriendly but not horribly friendly. She was clearly in a hurry to give us all the check-in info and be on her way
“A place to stay on the water. A bit of magic in Victoria.”
Breakfast was served in a restaurant a short walk across the park from Fisherman's Wharf. It’s a great little place with friendly staff and a very good breakfast. It could have been tricky in the rain, but we had good weather. It’s very convenient to go out onto the dock area where the public comes, and there are lots of daytime choices of places to eat. We are tea drinkers, and the kettle had to be returned to the lobby after use; it would be nice to have a small one in each room.

The place has a great location and the room, named Poppy, is nicely decorated. The deck over the water is fantastic, and even though Fisherman's Wharf is bustling, the room faces the water, giving a sense of privacy. It was very nice and I would definitely recommend it. We were totally happy!
I loved it—great location and experience. It was busy during the day and so peaceful at night.
