The lunch and dinner meals were of good quality, but breakfast was very basic and the air‑conditioning didn’t work properly.

Not much at all. I left after one night cutting the stay short. We had no running water in our room, so we couldn’t shower or brush our teeth. When it came on in the morning it was brown and rancid. We had no AC working in our room. The pool closes at 6:30pm and opens late in the morning, so I couldn’t even cool off. Overall terrible experience.

A lovely farmhouse overall, with very friendly staff who are ready to meet guests' needs. The room was clean and welcoming. The rock‑cut pool, sunset views over the estate, the breakfast room with climbing plants, the courtyard lit at night with lights hung on trees, and the green corners all give the place a unique feel and great potential. However, many small details add up and hurt the overall value. For instance, there are still structural issues (the interior view of the rooms faces a building that needs renovation); the gate opening is faulty even though it was announced; breakfast is à la carte with limited choices and modest portions, even though you can reorder while waiting for your food; pre‑portioning the food gives no hint of its origin, like the yogurt or the organic certification of the ingredients; there is a cow farm (not for milk) just a few steps from the rooms that promises zero‑kilometre ingredients, yet the room has out‑of‑season fruit; the line between waste reduction and excessive frugality can blur when a fruit plate at breakfast contains only one or two slices per type; the room offers only free filtered water, and the coffee pods are counted. It’s hard to feel comfortable when, at check‑in, a credit card is asked for a €1000 pre‑authorisation to cover possible damage or unpaid consumption, with the note that the refund will happen in the days after the stay after a room inspection—something you rarely see in comparable or even higher‑level properties. Receipts for consumption are not signed each time, so at check‑out it’s wise to double‑check that yours aren’t mixed with someone else’s, as happened to us, though the reception offered an apology.

Everything was flawless in every respect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The experience was truly excellent. The property is beautiful, well‑maintained, welcoming, and spotlessly clean, with meticulous attention to every detail. The rock‑cut pool deserves a special mention: it’s truly unique and evocative, adding to the charm of the place. The staff earned a perfect score: professional, helpful, kind, and always attentive to guests' needs, making a real difference. The kitchen was a delightful surprise: great dishes, quality ingredients, careful preparations, and excellent service. Property 10, staff 10, service 10, kitchen 10. The stay surpassed our expectations and we’ll remember it fondly. Absolutely recommended, we’ll definitely return! ❤️
