If you arrive early for breakfast it’s better, but the sausages stay on the pass too long and turn hard, the fried eggs do the same, so you have to keep refreshing the food.

On check in I was upgraded to a kingsize room for free. I was immensely pleased with this due to sharing with a child for the evening, it meant I got more bed space. The receptionist was very helpful. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfy. The shower leaked so the pressure was not great. Had this in another room when I previously stayed. The towel rail didn't heat up so by morning the towels we used the night before were still damp. There wasn't enough sugar for 2 cups of tea in the morning and only one bottle of still water. The iron when used left dirty water marks on my clothes. I forgot my toothbrush and the hotel don't offer spares or flannels which I think they should consider for the future. The hairdryer was clogged with dust and when turned on gave off a burning smell

The hotel was great, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was gorgeous, and the staff were exceptional.
