I liked the retro‑updated motel’s concept and the cute details it offered, but much of it felt cheaply done and still like a cheap motel. The beds were not comfortable at all, and the pool was nice but could have used a few more updates to be great. Beds, run‑down, value.

The place on Tybee was perfect.

I loved the nostalgia of this motel. The pool sits in the middle of the parking lot, and parking is in front of the door to your room. The room was clean, and the bedding and pillows were wonderful. We decided to drive and park to the beach, and breakfast is right down the street. All of the shopping is nearby. The bathroom sink even appeared to be original; it was small, but it went along with the vintage theme. Loved it all. Definitely would stay again. Tybee Island is worth the trip.

Very much. Nothing else; it was perfect.

It was so peaceful and comfortable! Comfy beds! A little bit of a tight fit, but everything else overrode the right fit.
