The spot was great – a tiny pleasure boat in a marina at the eastern tip of Venice, offering a nice view of the Lido and the Certosa. It was close to the Santa Elena vaporetto stop, which was very well served. Two friendly restaurant-bars were good and cheap, just a 5 or 10‑minute walk away. The bedding and towels were very clean. The boat itself was old, with a worn exterior but a clean interior. The onboard toilet smelled bad when we used it.
