The location is great, the welcome was very warm, and the breakfast was a full spread of fresh, homemade items, though the décor feels a bit dated.

We always enjoy staying at this family‑friendly, quiet hotel; the welcome was pleasant and everything is set up – a shared fridge, two breakfast options, and the option to have a meal basket for lunch. However, the room was disappointing: it was small, noisy from the busy street, and too pricey for my taste compared to other, more comfortable rooms, though the bed was comfortable. We’ll definitely return, just not in that room.

The reception was excellent, the garden‑view ground‑floor room had a comfy bed, the breakfast was superb, and the evening meals at the hotel’s restaurant were very good and clearly homemade – I’ll be back gladly.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but rooms facing the high‑traffic road were very noisy, and the breakfast buffet was basic.
