The personal was nice, the room was clean, and it was good for the price. The cafeteria had friendly staff. The cafeteria needs more options and could be a bit more elegant; adding a small bar for drinks would help.

The hotel was cosy and the art in the room and common areas was a nice touch. The room itself was clean with enough space for a large trunk and hiking backpack. The shower had great water pressure and the aircon was strong—essential after a hot or rainy day exploring Manila. The cosy cafe in the lobby served great coffee and food. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The location is great if you want to be close to bars and Makati CBD.

We have stayed here before. This time we had a suite, very comfortable, and it had a fridge. It seems impossible to obtain hot water from the hotel, and even the suite lacks an electric kettle. The vast majority of the world needs a hot drink to kick-start their day, and here Cayco lets us all down. Our room had 2 mugs (what for?), but no glasses. This area would benefit from a rethink and some minor investment in 30 kettles and 60 drinking glasses.
