The staff were all lovely and very helpful, providing plenty of information for our less than 24 hours in Port Blair. They hooked us up with a friendly tuktuk driver for local transport, arranged airport transfer with no trouble, and made the homely stay perfect for our morning ferry. Breakfast was also delicious.

We were shocked when we got off our vehicle because the building was just another structure in a super thin lane with a steep slope. Once we climbed up, the rooms were good, and an amazing owner kept checking on our comfort all the time. She and her staff served us Andaman delicacies for breakfast, like black rice and super tasty upma. The only downside was the lack of an intercom, so we had to trouble the owner all the time for everything.

Everything was perfect: the location was ideal, the place quiet and peaceful, and I was extremely happy and satisfied choosing this homestay. Host Revathi was kind and friendly, and I stayed in a seaview room that was lovely. From the start, Revathi guided me and helped book my ticket to the Cellular Jail Lightshow when I had trouble. I stayed for 3 nights—1 night at the beginning of my island trip and 2 nights at the end—she also arranged transportation when I needed to visit places. Daily breakfasts were amazing and plentiful, and she even packed me breakfast when I had to leave early for the ferry. I’m so appreciative and grateful for everything she did to make me feel welcomed on the island. I highly recommend The Hook Bnb if you’re ever in Port Blair. Thank you, Revathi!

The owner is amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We stayed here twice—once on the way to Havelock and again on our return. The owner helped organize our ferry and taxis between the jetty, airport, and accommodation. The Indian breakfast is also wonderful and different each morning. This place is fantastic value for money, and we would certainly return if we were in PB again.
