“Great cabin”

The wooden cabin was great and the host was very communicative and helpful, but there was no cold water in the shower.

“Comfortable stay in a beautiful location!”

It was well equipped and very comfortable for three people; the location and the view of Kirkufell mountain were beautiful.

The view of KIRKJUFELL from the apartment was great, and the two‑room place was spacious and bright with a brand‑new, fully equipped kitchen; everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The host was quick to respond and very friendly when we arrived, and the free parking right in front of the apartment was a bonus. The sink was tiny and we only had a single wardrobe or a few hooks to hang our clothes, which was a bit inconvenient.

The apartment was roomy in every area except the bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, and kettle, and the mattress was very comfortable. Underfloor heating worked well, and the shower and sink were both large. A pile of books on Icelandic history and mythology added a nice touch. The room had no windows, which made it uncomfortable because the bed filled the space under a low, sloping ceiling. The fridge was right next to the door and made a lot of noise at night. I would have liked a toaster in the kitchen.
