The location and the barbecue were nice. As the welcome booklet says, but the listing doesn’t, the house is under renovation. There are stairs everywhere. The dishwasher leaks, as do the toilets on the first floor. The bathroom on the second floor isn’t suitable for adults of normal height. The bed in one room requires wedges… There is no reception, so you can’t check in and get an orientation.

It’s too close to the road, so you hear cars all the time. One bathroom, the second for kids, no WC on the ground floor, windows and doors don’t close properly, and the fans are too weak.

The house feels very welcoming, spacious, and its rustic charm won us over. Once the finishing touches are done it will be perfect.

The kitchen and all its equipment are great, and the attic rooms are nice. We couldn’t adjust the oven temperature, and a lawnmower around the house would have been appreciated.
