What more can I say beyond the comments already posted? Everything is true—welcome, service, location, the setting of the stay. In short, don’t hesitate; you won’t regret it, and we definitely plan to return in 2027—15 mm is enough to get back on the road to Cap Corse.

The hosts were friendly, the view of Capraia and Elbe islands and the Italian coast was stunning on a clear day, and the sunrise that day was exceptional. The guest house was large and welcoming; the climb up was worth it for the view. It’s very quiet and air‑conditioned. No issues.

Casa l’Ortulanu’s location was perfect—the terrace offered a gorgeous view of Kircherl, Muline, and the green hills overlooking the sea every sunrise. Jean‑Paul welcomed us warmly and kept us company with his cheerful attitude, offering tips along the way. The room and bathroom were tastefully furnished, brand new, and spotless—thanks to the “Mistress of the house” Manou! The typical French breakfast, mainly sweet items with fresh baguette neatly packed in a basket, was brought to the terrace each morning with friendly chatter, making us feel very welcome. There were kettles and a fridge, two friendly cats and a dog rounded out the pleasant atmosphere. The Casa sits high in a small hamlet of Sisco, in Pietrapiana; trips to the eastern sea or especially the western coast are a bit far because the Corsican roads are narrow, winding, and steep. But the wonderful vibe of the place makes it easy to overlook that. Thanks for the lovely stay! The only note: for small people the washbasin is a bit high.

The spot on the slope offers a breathtaking view of the coast, and it’s very quiet. Jean‑Paul and Manou are extremely helpful and open hosts who want only the best for their guests. I’d come back right away and recommend it.
