The personnel were great. The room was superb and beautiful, and the value for money is unbeatable. The only thing I’d point out is that the hot chocolate could use some improvement.

The building is impressive and the dinner was excellent, but the bar staff was a bit unhelpful. I found no pillows on the bed and there was dust on the bedside lamp and behind the toilet door, which is understandable in an old building with many chimneys, yet still bothersome. The breakfast selection, especially the cereals, left something to be desired. I see the hotel trying to turn a profit, and I understand that, but if you compare it to a Parador at the same price, the value feels different.

The renovated castle was magnificent despite its size, with spacious, well‑decorated rooms, a very peaceful atmosphere, comfortable beds, and a coffee machine available. The restaurant was excellent, offering delicious and original dishes with friendly service. Breakfasts were delightful, featuring homemade and local products, a wide selection of pastries, and bread. Nothing – everything was perfect.
