I liked that it was authentic and run by a husband and wife, and the breakfast they served was pretty amazing. They didn’t let us know at check‑in that dinner was by reservation only at the hotel, and we were turned away the first night. There wasn’t a lot open for dinner, so that was a negative.

The place looked gorgeous, but the lack of AC made it hard to sleep when it was hot and the all‑hour restaurant had heavy smoking outside, which triggered my asthma. We didn’t get to try breakfast because we were hiking to Olpererhutte, yet the location is great for staying close to the trails.

Everything was fantastic, especially the owners who are also gourmet chefs; the meals were amazing. I liked everything—this was the best hotel we stayed at during the whole month of September, and we changed accommodation every three nights.

Very nice and friendly, room equipment 👍 balcony view great, breakfast buffet flawless – plenty of choices and even extra fresh egg variations to pick from.
