The accommodation was interesting, relatively dark but nicely furnished, with the back facing a rock wall that juts out behind the house. The front had only a smaller window above the start of the pedestrian zone. We stayed in cool October, so we kept the windows closed at night and there was no problem with street noise. The host was super friendly and spoke very good English. You’re right in the town and experience a bit of La‑Roche flair up close in this apartment. The staircase was very narrow and steep – not a problem for us, but you shouldn’t be frail. The parking was conveniently right in front of the house; if it’s full you’ll have to park further away.

The welcome was full of love, the staff showed sympathy for my car issue, and the central location was great. As others have mentioned, the shower isn’t good; otherwise nothing stood out.

We felt very comfortable with Martine and Renato, who emphasized hospitality. They helped with our luggage, cleaned the apartment daily, and Martine even washed dishes that were still on the table. Every day there was a small treat. The location was excellent at the end of the shopping street, and we had a free parking spot right next to the accommodation. The fridge had minor cooling issues and dripped a bit.

The staff were warm and the service flawless, and the place was nice, simple and right in the center, right next to a pedestrian street and several good restaurants.
