Hôtel Maison Doron

“Super hotel in the centre of the lovely town of Beaufort”

After driving to Beaufort, we chose Hotel Maison Doron as our stopover on the Route des Grandes Alpes cycle trip because of its central spot and amenities like a restaurant, breakfast, and secure bike storage. We weren’t let down; the staff were extremely friendly, the check‑in was quick and simple, and all our questions were answered without hesitation. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, both local and simply French, which we really enjoyed. We didn’t stay long enough to fully experience what Beaufort has to offer, so we’ll definitely return to this hotel next time.

“Hotel vieillot dans un joli village, dont le personnel gagnerait à mieux accueillir ses clients”

The location was central and well‑situated. The staff greeting (a woman this time, unfortunately) felt colder than the Doron in winter. Note that the bike garage is paid, and battery charging costs extra.

It was right in the middle of the village. There was no warmth or flexibility from the staff, and the bike garage couldn't be opened before 8 am. Why?
