The location is excellent and the rooms look freshly renovated.

The pension sits in a great spot, and the owner is very friendly, offering useful tips for exploring the city. The place was clean and had air conditioning. The bathroom, however, is very small—just one person can barely move around. The price feels high for the room, but San Sebastián’s rates are generally like that, so it’s unavoidable if you want to experience the city.

The pension’s location is convenient, close to many main sights in San Sebastián, making it a solid base for exploring. The building is older, the room feels cramped with only a twin bed that isn’t very comfortable, and the stairs are hard to navigate with luggage since there’s no elevator. The host doesn’t speak English, but I managed to get by with limited Spanish. The location is great, but the room comfort and lack of an elevator should be considered before booking.
