The rooms were clean and spacious, but we were assigned a room right next to the reception hall. That night a wedding was happening, the music started around 10 pm, it was very loud, and the sound‑proofing was poor. I was traveling with my parents, my dad is in his 70s, and the noise made it hard to sleep. The next morning we went to the front desk to complain, but they rudely told us that we should have said something the night before so they could have moved us. They offered no apology. I explained that we had driven from Ontario for over 10 hours, had already unpacked, and had an early drive into Calgary, so moving in the middle of the night wasn’t feasible. I also pointed out that if there were unoccupied rooms not beside the reception, they shouldn’t have put us there in the first place. No apology came, and the customer service was completely terrible.

We only slept there and grabbed coffee in the morning before leaving; we never ate at the hotel. However, Moxie's restaurant is right outside and we had an excellent meal there.
