I stayed at the Golden Lodge in Varanasi and the manager, Mr. Dabbu Singh, was incredibly helpful while the staff were friendly, clean, and made the place feel very comfortable. Nothing else to note.

The only perk was the proximity to the temple, and the staff were good, but the stairs were in poor condition, the double bed was too small, and it was a long walk to the auto and cab stand.

Golden Lodge is a great spot to stay with helpful people, spotless rooms, friendly workers, and temples, ghats, and markets all nearby; the price is reasonable and it feels like the best place in Varanasi. No negatives.

Golden Lodge is an excellent place to stay in Varanasi, with a kind manager, helpful staff, and a very clean environment close to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, the Ganga river, and the market; the guest house feels peaceful and homely.
