The hotel’s location is good, staff were always friendly and helpful. At breakfast they asked if we wanted more coffee, and special requests like cocoa were fulfilled immediately. The parking spots were “somewhat” hidden; without staff help they would have been hard to find. Breakfast was very limited, we wished for more options.

Breakfast was very good, the hotel sits in the centre of Bad Berneck but is still very quiet. I had a room there last year that was much better. Even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked, I got a top‑floor room with a slanted ceiling and the right temperature. The carpet is worn and should be replaced. There is no lift, so at 89 I would have had to carry my suitcase up; only after I explicitly asked and the young man who received me took the suitcase from me.

Everything was fine.

Overall it was decent, but the breakfast could have been a bit better. Otherwise it was fine.
