Absolutely lovely host! Barbara was so kind and insightful, helping us navigate the island on a budget. The room was perfect for my friend and me, and the air conditioning at night made sleeping on the hot island bearable. The facilities were exactly what you’d expect in a hostel, as long as everyone was courteous about hygiene—everything was perfect for a hostel traveler. The pool was extremely useful, about a 30‑minute walk from the beach, for a quick refresh.

“Estafa de hospedaje”

I booked, but they wouldn’t let me in at the scheduled check‑in. I was told to come back the next day at 10 a.m., so I showed up with my bags and no one was at reception. Turns out the reservation was cancelled and they’d already charged my card. I was left on the street in an unfamiliar country, no one opened the door, and I lost a day of my vacation on my birthday. Total scam: you get charged and not allowed in.
