Good location, clean, big and comfy bed, nice bathroom, tea, coffee, water, and a small fridge in the room. Good lighting and plenty of space to keep luggage or sit. Close to Anhalter Bahnhof station, only 30 minutes from the airport with one easy change. Several ad/spam WhatsApp messages with upgrade offers. Breakfast was expensive at 28 euros per person.

“Good location and facility”

The location was great because I was attending the congress at Tempodrom, and I liked the sauna and breakfast. When I checked out, an unknown bill appeared. The male receptionist tried to find out what it was and said it was for the restaurant/bar on our arrival day, which we didn’t use or sign for our room. He searched for a receipt that he couldn’t find but kept saying he would charge my credit card after confirming with the restaurant staff. I kept insisting I didn’t use it and he repeated the same. After about 15 minutes, my friend who was staying in a different room and my partner came to argue, and then he stopped saying he would charge me. He was quite rude, especially to me, and I’m not sure if it was because I was a woman or Asian or both; his attitude was not what I would expect from a nice hotel that isn’t cheap. I politely asked for an apology, but he kept doubting that I didn’t use the restaurant and insisted he would charge my card. I think he really didn’t want to apologize; at the end we didn’t have time and left. I heard he finally apologized to my friend, but not to us, the ones who were accused. I still had a good stay overall and I come every year for this event, staying at this hotel. It’s the first time I’ve experienced something like this. I don’t want to say it, but maybe after the hotel chain changed, this new brand doesn’t maintain the same standard. Hopefully it will improve next year.

“Excellent”

The room was spacious and clean, good location near the train station, walkable to most popular spots and easy to access food. I was happy with my stay.
