The staff were incredibly nice, making me feel welcome during my stay
The breakfast was decent, and I was impressed with how well the rooms were laid out

“Good location and overall good service, however the room was not very clean upon our arrival”
We liked the breakfast, but it was way too small and we only had one suitcase – I can't imagine it would work with two.
The central location was convenient, just a few steps from a commercial area with many venues; the cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast met our standards. The staff were friendly but not very empathetic. Because it was my first time in Japan and I had no sense of scale, the room felt extremely cramped, almost claustrophobic. Staying for two nights was a real challenge without any wardrobe or support points, moving one by one. This explains why the four‑star rating on Booking surprised us negatively; in Europe such a hotel would be one or two stars. The room was advertised as 14 m² but was really around 10 m².
“Claustrofobia”
The place was clean and well‑located, but the photos don’t match the rooms – they’re tiny. With three of us we could barely move around inside.
The reception and the first room were fine, but the assigned room had a bloody‑stained sheet; I asked for new sheets and a different room, promised it would be a higher level, but it wasn’t.
“מקום לא רע לשים ראש והתקלח(מקלחת קטנה מאוד ובקושי אפשר לזוז)”
It’s close to Bontodori, the staff are generous, and they provide luggage‑carrying services; the room is very small, and the breakfast, when available, has a very limited variety and poor quality, especially if it runs out because of the guests before us.
